JSTOR: How to use our new database In-Person
In this 30-minute workshop taught by Oakton library faculty, participants will learn how to use our newest database, JSTOR. JSTOR is multi-disciplinary (contains materials from many different academic subjects) database. Learn how to search for primary sources including
- The largest community -contributed plant database
- “Struggles for Freedom: Southern Africa” Collection with more than 190,000 pages of documents and images
- 19th Century British Pamphlets collection with more 26,000 pamphlets
- World Heritage Sites: Africa Collection with more 57,000 objects including photographs, 3D models, GIS data and more
